So i created this blog to share with you my thoughts, funny stories I've heard, good movies I've seen, interesting books I have read, things I have done or want to do etc ... really the purpose is to have an open forum to just ... well ... write about anything and everything that I feel like.
My friend LaRane was recently tagged by her friend to post on her blog three joys, fears, obsessions, and surprising facts. I thought it was a good way to begin sharing, so ... here it goes.
JOYS
1. Gabe's laughter when i kiss his tummy or tickle his neck.
2. A windy sunny day - there is just something about sitting in the sun on a windy day that is very relaxing and makes me happy. Windy days also remind me of Poland.
3. Taking family walks with Dave, Gabe, and the dogs - unfortunately, we rarely go for family walks.
FEARS
1. death - i guess its the finality of life as I know it that scares me. the idea of reincarnation really appeals to me ... to have an opportunity to live a better life, to be a better person.
2. spiders - when i was a child i was deathly afraid of spiders - even little ones. i have overcame this fear somewhat but i don't think i will ever be really comfortable with spiders.
3. deep water - i'm not a good swimmer and cannot hold my breath for very long so being in deep water really scares me.
OBSESSIONS
I don't think I have any ... except maybe that I am somewhat obsessed with things being organized in a certain way ... and planning ahead.
SURPRISING FACTS
I'm not sure what people would find surprising about me ... so I will share three facts that people may not know about me.
1. I like the way dogs' paws smell - to me they always smell like fresh cut grass.
2. I cannot sing and i really really wish I did.
3. I would rather have kopytka, kotlety, and polish style cauliflower than cake.

That's funny that you like the way dogs paws smell because so do I. I call it "puppy paws." Eric thought I was kind of weird when I told him how I liked the smell. It goes back to when Marley was a puppy and I used to lay on the bed with him and his paws would be in my face. That's why I call it "puppy paws."
